Birds has been part of the town's property scene since 1988, building relationships with local landlords and tenants over the years.
The portfolio has been acquired from Jill Cairns, who has been closely involved with the business for many years, with the move designed to provide continuity for customers.
And for those who have dealt with Birds over the years, there will still be a familiar face to turn to.
Paula Bingley, who has worked with Birds for 22 years, is joining the Sowerbys team in Hunstanton, bringing with her a wealth of local knowledge and established relationships with landlords and tenants.
The acquisition strengthens Sowerbys' lettings operation in the town and surrounding villages, while giving existing Birds customers access to its wider property management services.

For landlords and tenants who have known Birds for many years, Paula's move to Sowerbys means they will continue to have someone who knows both them and the local property market.
The agreement brings together two established Norfolk estate agency names, with Sowerbys taking responsibility for the lettings management portfolio while retaining the experience and local connections built up by Birds over the past 38 years.
