‘ABC’ was the lead track on the Jackson 5's 1970 album. Michael Jackson might have sung that it's "as easy as 123," but the 36 intricate displays around the church prove it's anything but simple!
Town and Around caught up with the Rector, Rev Mark Capron who said: ‘We’ve had hundreds and hundreds of people flocking in which has been amazing; to see the creativity through all the flowers and arrangements, and it’s for all ages from the little young ones who’ve enjoyed story times and songs, and for the older children the treasure hunt looking for teddy bears that are hidden around the church.”
This year the flower festival kicked off with a comedy night which was a great success when Paul Kerensa, best known as a writer for top Gear, Miranda and Not Going Out entertained a lively audience.
